Apartment... or not

So, Topher and I have talked extensively and we both decided it would be for the best if we lived separately this coming year. The reasons are both financial and personal, and we do plan to move in together the year after. It was just too many new things at once, and especially since I don't have a job yet, finding a lease was proving difficult and excessively stressful. So we talked and figured that it was in the best intrests of our relationship to take things one step at a time and first get acclimated to Gradutate school/ the work force first. So I will be living in Evanston with my mother and Topher will be living on campus. This does not mean, however, that we won't see each other. We already have plans in place to spend weekends together and for me to visit during the week for dinner and such after work. So, before anyone says that they're sorry, this is a good thing, and I'm really excited that we were able to realize that this was the best thing for our relationship and not read anything necessary into it (like OMG they're trying to sneak around behind my back if I'm not with them 24/7!!!). We're both really excited about the upcoming year and look forward to not being a bajillion miles away from each other.

In other news. I may be becoming addicted to NCIS. It's just such a good show and I love the characters! They all have such fun and quirky personalities. I may have to dress up as Abby for Halloween (I'd just be a goth girl in a lab coat holding a Caff-pow). The interactions are great and I love them all! I really can't pick a favorite character. I am sad it's not on TV today.... I'll just have to turn to my friend the in-tar-weebs to fuel my growing dependency.
