I am exhausted. I've spent the majority of my evening (from 4pm to 6pm and then again from 8pm to 11:30pm) working on this fucking cover! I wanted to do a halftone pattern version for the college's semesterly comic book, the Sequence since they only print in black and white. So even though, I had the color version done, I needed to effectively, do all the coloring all over again to get the b&w halftones to look right (just converting the color to halftone looked like crap). But now it's done and I am so exhausted I could vomit. My eyes are so tired from looking at Illustrator and Photoshop all evening that they may fall out of my head.
And the really frustrating thing? Even after all this work, I'm scared to death to submit it to the Sequence (which I drew the image specifically for in the first place last semester) becuase I'm afraid it'll offend someone!
This is why I don't think I could be a professional artist. It's too fucking hard.
